Had a great experience at the newly remodeled Applebee’s in Uvalde. They even added an IHOP! WOW! Best of both worlds.
Pancakes at 3pm HUGE plus. Just don't come with big expectations and you'll be fine. Service is subpar, slow to serve, and check on dining patrons.
What a joke. Walked in gave the order they put it in a bag taped it up so you can’t open it then you leave and it’s not what you ordered. Then you try to call the store using the 15 different phone numbers you find online and they don’t answer any of them. It’s still a fast food restaurant people. 
I don’t normally write reviews, but our experience at Applebee’s was disappointing enough to warrant one. The food was a complete letdown — the steak was tough and nearly impossible to cut, the chicken was burnt, and the boneless chicken wings were tough as rocks, and somehow everything still managed to be cold. We brought this to the attention of the on-duty manager, Coleen (pronounced Ko-leen), who listened but said absolutely nothing in response — no apology, no offer to fix it, nothing.
