It is important to acknowledge people period when they enter your establishment or working area. I am a driver. I was picking up a order during non peak hours. Not crowded at all. The fact that numerous employees ignored me when the order I was there for was ready and sitting on a counter. A simple may I help you and a hand off would have sufficed. But to ignore me and have me standing there waiting for a hand off is poor customer service. Do better.
Me and my son had to wait about 15-20 minutes before even getting sat down and the restaurant was not busy. The lady greeted us and told she would be right with us but then proceeded to clean tables then came back to us 10 mins later and said it will be about another 5-10 minutes because she wants to clean everyone’s tables. At that point people start piling up behind us and one family sat themselves down and another server acknowledged them before even acknowledging me and my son.
