took my nephew and his roommate, who had just completed a 10-hour interstate ride , to the Ormond Applebee's for a late dinner (10:30pm). The restaraunt was very nearly empty , but we stood at the hostess station for more than 5 minutes without seeing a hostess or server. We asked the bartender if we could perhaps seat ourselves , and his response was "no". So we stood at the hostess station , in the empty restaraunt , another 5 minutes. My wife and I thought we would check out our local Applebee. My wife ordered the rice and shrimp plate and the rice was hard (under cooked) and I ordered a steak (barely hot) with fries (they came after I ate the steak). This was our first and most likely last time we go there.
The Rice was not cooked (freaking crunchy, no rice should be crunchy ever), by the time a replacement came the husband was finished. I got the replacement to go, and walked out hungrier than when I came in.
Food was good, service was great... Our waitress was very nice and friendly... I would drive to this one even if i was down in Daytona
I like the atmosphere and the servers Yes service could use improving Friday karaoke is pretty good New saturday karaoke..well they suck
We loved it. Dont normally do this but the waiter we had was awsome
I had a triple hog dare ya.it was ok.chips cold.then we had two bourbon street chicken. The fryed potatoes was not done.
