Deterioration in quality – My husband and I have visited this Applebee's ever since it opened. Our last visit was on Nov. 4, 2011. We had to ask to place our order, and did not receive good service after that--everything was late, or incomplete, we had to ask for coffee, etc. My husband's dinner serving was hald its normal size, and mine did not at all resemble the menu description. I used Applebee's online form to file a compaint, and got only an automated response saying my e-mail had been received. We won't be going back ... read more

Nasty – Place had a wierd smell, dishes where crusty and the food was all bad, meat tasted just like it was cooked in microwave, even the two salads we could not eat, shrimp plate they were like rubber and bad tast. Food has really took a noise dive from 2yrs ago, when it was pretty good. Will never be going back now and when be got our bill for five with tip is was $120 bucks and no drinks from the bar

Love this Place – Great Service & Car To Go is terrific when you are in a hurry and have to get lunch for the office.

I may of gotten aids... – I entered the establishment thinking it was just an ordinary Applebee's, but I soon realized something was horribly wrong. It was completely empty and I thought to myself, "Sweet, we're gonna get our food really fast".I was very wrong. It was at least 5 hours before I received my food and it was cold and soupy. Have you ever tried eating a sandwich that is soupy? it is horrible. Also, I was just tested for HIV and it was positive. I'm pretty sure I got HIV from Applebee's.

This restaurant is Applebees in the hood. The people are hard working good folks who are there trying to make a living. Many of the people who come into this restaurant come in after 10pm so they can get cheap drinks and 1/2 price appetizers. Many of these folks are the welfare entitled and they come in acting like they were raised in a barn. Good service – Couple of friends and I went to Applebees on 42nd street. It was nice, I ordered a salad and it was really tasty. Service was good too. The only downsides I found was that our waitress kept smiling with what looked like a fake smile, which was kind of weird, but its ok, not such a big deal. Another downside was that music was a bit too loud, other than that, i love the place.

I won't ever go back – This place needs to hire better help, maybe someone with a little personality would be good and a good service trainer wouldn't be bad either. I was NOT impressed and have given them many chances. Who ever is doing the hiring should be fired!
