Dr. Verbitska was so so attentive I couldn’t say better things about this place. We came in last week and the staff was so kind and welcoming to my son who’s terrified of going to the doctors. The medical assistant, I think Allison, was so kind and funny it really took his mind off being at the doctors and was an overall wonderful experience. Thank you apple pediatrics!
I generally have a high level of respect for medical professionals and understand that delays can happen. However, my experience with Dr. Alison Ostrow has been deeply disappointing. This review is specifically regarding Dr. Ostrow and not the rest of the practice that I have no experience with. In early December, I requested a prescription. Dr. Verbitska and staff were really friendly and welcoming. However, visits are very short and felt rushed with the doctor speaking really fast. Office is on the smaller size and cramped. But this is expected in Manhattan where space is expensive. There is a tiny area by the door that can fit 2 small strollers as there is little room in the waiting area and in the exam rooms. Dr. Nastassia Verbitska has gone above and beyond as our son’s pediatrician since before he was born up to today (he is now fourth months old)! Highly recommend her. She had a prenatal visit with me to help with questions as a first time parent navigating nyc healthcare system for a child. After our son was born, she has been very helpful with his vaccinations and the diagnosis/navigation of a dairy and soy intolerance that started to present itself around two months old.
