Dr Appelbaum took my son in for an emergency root canal on 10 minutes notice from our regular dentist who could not complete the procedure due to it being a more complex case. He didn't treat us like a bother and did everything possible to help fix a difficult situation and make son feel at ease. His office staff was also kind and accommodating. Dr. Appelbaum and his staff his me in for an emergency root canal and they treated me so kindly. I know there were other people in the waiting room but they fit me in somehow. His nurse was so kind to get me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Appelbaum explained everything to me and he took him a lot of time to get through the whole root. No more pain in my tooth!
This was my second experience with Dr. Appelbaum over a period of years. He is gentle, explains everything he's doing. His entire staff is very helpful and kind. I highly recommend him. He's excellent.
The office staff are so kind and super helpful. They did everything in their power to get me in quickly for my consult and then book the procedure ASAP to get me out of pain. Dr. Appelbaum made sure I was 100% numb before beginning the procedure and I felt nothing during the entire hour and a half. Such a good experience!
We took our 19 year old to see Dr. Appelbaum. He was referred to us from our dentist. We went during the Covid pandemic. Our daughter was in so much pain, and was fearful of the procedure. However. we are writing as a Huge Thank You to Dr. Appelbaum and his amazing, kind staff.
Dr. Appelbaum's office fit me in when I was in pain from needing a root canal. I had never had a root canal or been to his office but they fit me in even though they were busy. Such caring staff, dental assistant and Dr. Appelbaum himself. I was so nervous and they calmed me right down. Both Dr. Appelbaum and his assistant were reassuring and gentle. It was very time consuming but he took his time to do a very professional job.
I would not recommend his services. His staff is unclear with estimated charges. The online check in process is frustrating to access based on the administrative communication. I was overcharged for a simple evaluation Seek another doctor

Dr. Appelbaum and his staff provided excellent service in a time when I was in tremendous pain. Despite not being a prior patient, he came in on his day off to provide me emergency care. He and his staff put me at ease, very clearly described what needed to happen and provided the service in an environment where I could relax during the process -- which is amazing since I am NOT a good patient. No matter which office, the staff is courteous and caring.
