I reported a carjacking and kidnapping to their newsroom. They couldn't care less. They only report the same things that show up on the internet. no wonder nobody buys newspapers anymore. they don't even jump on exclusive stories. real journalism is dead

It is our only source for in-depth local news. Interesting editorials, local arts coverage and more keep me reading it every day.
During this time of most vendors or businesses making temporary changes to their policies or offering waivers of their charges, the Appeal Democrat still requires a subscription to view entire articles online. Where is their sense of community? But that is ok, I will continue to use other online news outlets. So much for local support.
