Started charging a fee to accept credit card. Note that the fee doesn't scale with bill so even very small bills charge a $2 fee. They also removed auto-pay as an option.
So this month as of 12/28/2023, AEP has somehow price gouged not just me, but many people. I am not home during the day, my thermostat is set to 65, at all times and yet.. I still have a bill close to 300$ per month??? I will be calling the news station and having them investigate these outlandish and completely ludicrous prices. I really believe that AEP is screwing their customers and this Monopoly needs to be brought to justice.
We were having trouble with our electricity and the landlord tried to say it was a breaker causing problems, so I called AEP and they sent someone out right away and they fixed the problem which wasn't a breaker, thank you so much to the man who fixed our power on Campbell Avenue.
