The medical staff and the staff present at the Asheville office are wonderful: caring, responsive, clear, professional. Whoever the bureaucratic overlords are who coordinate the call center and communications are the worst I have ever dealt with and worth commenting on to give others a heads up. They put me in a special kind of bureaucratic insurance hellscape and were impossible to get any information from other than "we'll call you back". I can't say enough good things about this office. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Egidi took his time and explained everything about how to care for my loved ones foot injury. Was a wonderful experience.
As a health care professionals, we know podiatry is important to diabetic patients. My family member had very a disappointing new patient visit. The visit was nothing more than an expensive toenail cut for a couple of toenails. NO exam, recommendations, instructions, less than 3 minutes with provider. Unfortunately, no recommendations from our family, all future appointments and new patient visit for our other family member canceled. Back to searching for helpful and quality podiatrist in Asheville area. Just disappointing
Their website clearly states they accept walk-in appointments. Went to the Asheville office today and the receptionist says “we dont take walk-ins”, when I replied that their website said they do, she says “well I dont know why, we've never taken walk-ins and they need to take that off”. Her tone was very offputting and the least she could have done is go ask a provider if they would be willing to see me.
