Great experience at this office! Everything was clean and welcoming. Kaci at the front desk was very helpful in explaining costs and insurance, making everything easy to understand. The assistants Daniela and Yan were kind, patient, and very helpful throughout. The doctor is knowledgeable, professional, and understanding. This dental visit was my 1st to get done on my own with my own benefits, so that was a major step forward. Had two decent cavities caused by failed fillings that needed to be refilled. My current co-worker told me his wife, Cassie, works the front desk. Was hesitant at 1st to make the call, however glad I did. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Cassie, who was very nice to talk with. Every single person I saw in office made me feel so welcome and validated. Kacy helped me set up my appointment and guided me through the whole process. Becky was an amazing hygienist and explained everything thoroughly to help get my teeth back in shape. Dr. Asker was very knowledgeable and explained my conditions well. As someone who hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time, I had a lot of anxiety going in but I never once felt judged. Everyone there truly wants to help!
Had a dental emergency just a week after arriving in Austin. Apolonia smiles fit me in on the same day (even though it was a holiday), and were incredibly kind and explanatory. I’ve never had a dentist explain what they were doing in detail, he even gave me a mirror to show me what he was talking about in my mouth! So happy with my experience here that I booked my routine cleaning for a few weeks later. Couldn’t recommend Apolonia and Dr. Akser more highly.
