stay away! I too second the other reviewers who have problems with billing.we have shopped there since they have opened but have noticed a lot of problems with billing like charging $1-$2 more on sticker items,double charging,and inputting wrong items.infact it has become a everytime issue and we have to check our bill before we are out of there , as my husband hates to go back since the lady at the counter makes faces and passes nasty comments on people who come to have their bills corrected and we have seen this right in f... read more
Worst customer care, lot of negligence I completely agree with the previous comments. This is the place I have ever seen that has the least concern for the customer. I was given a wrong bill and I had to go all the way back to get it corrected. This is disgusting. I think these guys are too over confident.
Billing Issue / customer service i am srinivas ,owner of the shop (Apna Bazaar) . I am extermely sorry to know that there was a mistake in the billing . I have taken steps to resolve this issue . I am very thankful to Anjali from Vancouver who brought this to my notice . After going through the issue i understand that this is not wantedly made mistakes and most of the mistakes happen when there is a rush as my employees try to hurry up the billing for faster service . Apna Bazaar is Cool and Love their Sale ! Pretty cool place. Dont know about other bad reviews but the staff are friendly , Always feel it is your responsibility to check the items what you buy before and afterwords.
Billin Problem. Hi, Even i had bad experience with billing.There used to be one fair lady,she was nice and never made mistake.The fat one makes mistake all the time. The other day we got paneer. That lady entered it once(4.something $) n then after another item entered it again(6.something $). Immediatley i noticed it and told my husband.We were so pissed off...but then..we had no other go..we have to buy groceries from him in future ,so we just kept quiet.Apna Bazar management has to see to it. Good variety & Indian service :) Hello, I stayed in Portland for 3 year, and found the Apana Bazar with good variety, with sluggish service. Although there are some items where you don't get anywhere but here, hence you have to trade off while buying
Apna Bazaar, Best in the West. I travel all over united states, apna bazaar is the best Indian grocery store, neat, clean and excellent products with very reasonable prices. Owner Srinivas is kind and gentle guy, very helpful to the indian pakistani community. Dear Friends 01/16/2010 Dear Owner, I have been searching along time for an indian store with the products and food I m looking for. I very much love the indian culture. I have been to alot of India stores in Oregon but have not found the right one. Billing is a problem! We guys live in Vancouver and we go to Apna Bazaar in 2-3 months as we don't get all the things in Vancouver. They have a organised and neat place. But I guess Billing the items is a problem with them, its like every alternate time I have found mistakes in the bill. Most of the times the items are priced twice, and even the things on sale are priced with the original price (not the sale price).
