I had the absolute worst experience imaginable at Apico with Dr. Abdallah. First, his bed side manner is awful, he is not thorough, and he did not make me feel comfortable at all. I should’ve went with my gut when feeling off about him but I didn’t because I was desperate for the procedure to help with my condition which was a nerve block. On top of that, our area being notorious for it taking a year or so to see any specialist. After the nerve block I noticed there was fat loss at the injection site about a month later. This place is ran extremely poorly. A pain management place is often used as a last resort for patients with chronic pain, yet APICO is sluggish in fixing their plentiful of mistakes. The office closes early consistently, sometimes multiple hours before posted closing time with no prior warning nor explanation. The staff is also unhelpful, with no way to get ahold of them via telephone, along with not caring for or attempting to treat patients with long-term diagnosed chronic pain. These people are wonderful. All of them. I was given their name for follow-up from ER. APICO gave me an appointment right away. My relief from relentless pain from years old head injury was immediate. They have the skills, knowledge and most importantly the wonderful idea of really wanting to help you with your pain.
