The service department is ran by liars and crooks. It was a 100 mile drive for me so I wanted to be sure I could afford the repair. Service rep. Trey told me it would be around $800. So, I took the engine in to them and the mechanic Jeff, looked at it and said it would be around $600. So, I said great fix it. When I got the official estimate it was over $1,300! drove to Colorado from Iowa to visit my family and do some 2 wheeled dirt therapy with my son and brother. I posted my issue, ended up on sports page, and sadly I have bothered someone at yer store....Apex wont warrant after market parts on bike, < 2$ part...and said my bike...1992 is usually too old to be worked on by this store...lotsa bad info , and excuses of transpo and virus' have little effect on communication and results, when yer thru with this I surely will seek service elsewhere. Very dangerous place to take your bike. My first visit: Simply change out my front tire with a new one. My Second visit: Fix the issue with the first visit because they put my tire on backwards. This is very dangerous, however, I forgave them. My third visit: Fix the issue of the second visit. They didn't check my valve on the front tire so I was leaking air like crazy. the guys in the service department are amazing. always friendly and ready to help. I popped by today to ask a question about my brakes and carbs and they were able to take a look and a few quick tweaks later my bike was running like a champ. Trey and Jordan y'all are the best
