The clattering racket from the turbo wastegate finally got me a ticket :( So I brought my STI to Apex, to have the wastegate plumbed back into the exhaust line. IT'S SOOOO MUCH QUIETER !!! The turbo puts out 23# of boost, but the wastegate triggers at 15#, so the excessive noise was a pretty big part of the power band. But now? Sounds like a purring Rolls-Royce Merlin in a P-51 Mustang 😁 Thanks again, Mike and Apex Performance !!!
