I am extremely disappointed with the level of care I received at Apex Heart and Vascular Care in East Orange. As part of my pre-operative cardiac clearance, I informed the office that I have a documented allergy to Lexiscan. I was told I would instead be scheduled for a treadmill stress test. However, I was still sent to Hudson Regional Hospital with orders for a nuclear stress test—the very test I had explained I could not undergo because of my allergy. Great experience
I’ve been disappointed with Apex Heart & Cardiologist. In two months, I’ve never seen an actual doctor—only physician assistants who rush to prescribe medication instead of suggesting lifestyle changes or diet support. Wait times are often over two hours, and appointments are frequently cancelled or rescheduled. Patients deserve better care, communication, and respect for their time.
Always a fast and reliable service. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I’m there.
