This place is terrible! They found something in my eye. I asked an simple question: Does that matter? After answering that simple question, they billed me additional $189 for an annual eye check that is fully covered by my eye insurance.
Know what you're getting. CEI didn't do anything wrong. The people were fine and I got what I came for. But I'm used to vision care being outside the health care system, avoiding the bloat and odd games that come with our health care establishment. CEI treats an eye exam like "health care", which isn't wrong, but frustrates me; read on if you want details.
