As a fellow gym owner I understand the complexities of operating a niche powerlifting gym. Dave and Riley have done a fantastic job with organizing their gym and equipment with the space made available to them and it's very very impressive! Dave, Riley and Joey were incredibly welcoming. Coach Joey is a top-level powerlifting coach. Great programming, detailed feedback, and a motivating gym. I’ve made serious progress and feel confident going into competitions. Highly recommend.🫶🏼🫡
I’ve been training with Joey for several years and followed him to Apex even though it's twice the distance for me, because he's that good. As a senior (over 70) it's really important that I train with somebody who really understands the body – past experience with other trainers has never been as thorough or as good as with Joey. Apex Barbell is an incredible gym! The equipment is top-notch, the atmosphere is motivating, the staff are super supportive, and a very well knit community. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone serious about powerlifting. Black monkey #1 never forget
