We rented from the Leins for 5 years. The rates were fair and the apartment itself was fine. The appliances were very old, but they all worked. The space was clean and safe, but most surfaces had several thick coats of paint that we had to scrape off to get the doors and cabinets to close all the way. It's about what we expected for an old building, and the price was appropriate for the condition and location. Alisa was very responsive, and she had all minor repairs done within 48 hours. My experience with Alisa Lein was not pleasant. In my opinion, she was not professional because of her lack of knowledge in the fair housing-disability act(her responsibility as a building/leasing manager). Either that or she was knowingly discriminating. She deterred me from finishing my rental application 1)Requiring rental insurance for my Emotional Support Dog.
