The Apartment Store The apartments are very nicely furnished, and a good price if you plan on having roommates. The staff is on call at all hours in case something breaks or in case you have an emergency, and they are very on top of the non-emergency problems you may have as well. The parking is not free for tenants, and they are VERY quick to tow an offending vehicle, so unless you have a pass don't think to try parking in their lots (as you can tell I've had my car towed from here before). Great Price, Utilities Included, Friendly Staff The Apartment Store is located within walking distance of IUP's campus and provides a number of housing options. They have studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments that are very reasonably priced and include utilities. The Apartment Store often has rentals available into the summer (for the upcoming fall) which is rare in Indiana. Much better options elsewhere I would not recommend living hear. Too expensive for all of the hassles. -- Constant inspections, renovations and changes to the complex. There is always trash in and around the apartment buildings. Very limited areas to park a bike. It is difficult to get the staff to respond to any needs. One thing they do well is promptly tow cars; any cars that do not have a parking pass are immediately towed. -- There are better places to live around town.

Renovation madness The staff is very friendly and attentive. The building is usually well kept, with a few exceptions for litter outside of the building. -- However, over the last three years, many renovations have been made to the apartments, requiring residents move furniture and personal belongings many times in order to accommodate to the needs of the workers. This has been rather excessive for some reason and has caused me to do work at other locations that I would prefer to do at my apartment. For example, in the last ... read more
