Do not move here. They will not give proper notice to raise rent and force out section 8 tenants without notice. Management is impossible to get a hold of, and every time I have been in this office I hear them talking about not wanting certain amenities because they dont want to "attract THAT crowd around". Run by crooks hoping to turn this place into "luxury" living by illegally raising rent and kicking HUD tenants out. They are listed to the Kanawha county income based housing but don't want "poor people" living here.
They made a HUGE mistake getting rid of Michael Sanney. He knew his job and got it done. Now management can't even answer the most basic of questions and they don't even know if they can renew my lease since I am on HUD. But I have been for 3.5 years and its never been a problem before. They can't keep maintenance staff and it takes FOREVER to get any issues fixed. I was told by a member of management that they had a $0 maintenance budget.The whole place is insane and falling apart. Its nearly impossible to reach management either by phone or in person. If you go down to the office during business hours the door is almost always deadbolted, even if they're in there. Everything about how they run this place is sketchy.
I've been trying to contact the management here for a week now to fix my rent ledger, but every time I go to the office they are locked in and wont answer. The phone just goes to a voicemail box that's usually full as well. They got a 1205 check from HUD from backpay after not being able to be contacted by HUD for MONTHS and won't fix the balance we owe to the correct amount.
