STAY FAR AWAY – On 6/18/11, My car died on the Freeway. I had my Mustang towed by Apache Sands in Mesa to their service center to find out problem. I needed alternator, battery and oil change. $721.53. I paid my bill and asked why they were $110 more expensive than the Ford dealer would have been and how do you keep return customers?. Would not recommend – I actually use to work at this place years ago..I remember getting charged to much as an employee for things I found out they over charged me on or that didn't need to be done..at the time I worked there in the early 2000's..they had a very high turn over with their mechanics..which isn't good when you have different people coming and going in a buisness like an auto shop makes you wonder why you get poor service..

Great Repair Shop – Apache Sands is a AAA Top Shop Award Winner!! AAA recomended I have my car towed there. The got my car right in, fixed it under the estimated price and even came to my house and picked me up with their courtesy van. AAA is lucky to have a shop like this doing work for their members.

VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL!! – I needed my car repaired & AAA sent Apache Sands towing to help me. They towed my car to their shop where the service people called me and let me know what was wrong with my car & how much it would cost. My car was fixed the same day & they picked me up at home to get it! Then I saw a banner that you get 20cents off per gallon of gas if you purchase a car wash at the pump & I got that! Great deal!! Everyone I dealt with was really nice there. I'll definitely go back!

Watch out for this shop! – After getting charged 800.00 to replace a fuel pump in my car, i went around checking on prices. The part itself can cost between 190-260 depending on what supply place you go to. They charged me 402.68 just for the part # 953-3030. This is how they are making their money-ripping off people! Watch out for this place, and if you need your car to be towed I would pick somewhere else to tow to!!

Avoid at all costs!! – Honesty: Zero out of 5. They gave me an estimate of $500 but when I picked the car up they gave me a bill of $1200. Need I say more?! Integrity: They pestered me for a month to try to talk me into extra services that I didn't need. (No I didn't take them up on it.) Accountability: When I asked the Service Manager how $500 is like $1200, he just blew me off and said that "we found some extra things when we got in there". Overall: FAIL. Stay away from this place at all costs!

Think Twice – AAA sent Apache Sands to service my vehicle. Was very pleased with the service itself. I'd used my debit card to pay and I realized days later they'd authorized the charges twice. I called and spoke with two of the most rude and unprofessional people I've dealt with in all my years. Condescending and unresponsive beyond all measure. There are too many options for car service out there to deal with the likes of Apache Sands. They'll never have my family's business again.

Treated us horribly! – Terrible. Tow truck was later than quoted. Discount offered at time of service was not honored at time of payment. Time repair was promised by was not kept. Phone calls were not returned until next day. A repair that was to take an afternoon took two days. No explanations or apologies were ever given. We'd "steer" clear of this outfit.
