I financed over 20 pieces of equipment and have always leased to a carrier and under their insurance policy. I provided AP with the lease and insurance certificate covering the trailer and listing them as loss payee. they continue to ignore and put additional insurance program on the equipment. Edit: This was a lack of direct communication. After thoroughly explaining the lease to carrier dynamic they have made an exception.
