On Dec.17, 2008 at 5pm, I had life- saving open-heart surgery to install a goretex replacement aortic arch. My dissection extended from the aortic valve at the top of my heart to the Iliac split and partially into my right leg. It had happened over a period of 5 hours between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
