My 10 year old loves coming here. It’s challenging and engaging!
There are some wonderful teachers that are doing their best, but AOPS is putting money before quality. The classes -- even for second grade -- have 16 kids in a tiny classroom, some of whom are behavior problems. Be particularly wary if you have girls, as many of the math classes have many more boys who take over, interrupting and shouting over the girls. Amazing place for kids to learn math with a problem solving mind set! Makes learning fun!
What an amazing place with wonderful staff! I wish I had a place like this to support my studies when I was a kid. The energy of the Principal is amazing and can only reflect on the atmosphere and the work everyone is able to get out of the kids that come here.
