You should not be under the illusion that my child is doing well at AoPS. In reality, during class, students are often on their phones, chatting, or engaging in other off-task behaviors and the teachers pay absolutely no attention. There have even been times when my child came home having done nothing during class. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention, She was told that it’s “100% the student’s responsibility.” I wonder how many parents would still be willing to send their children here after hearing that. Highly not recommend here trusted this place, but it ended up being a complete waste of money and time. The staff does nothing to manage the students whether the kids study or not, no one seems to care. More and more families are leaving because of this.

AoPS offers top-notch math education, both in its books and many instructors at this location. Beast Academy for elementary students is a 5/5—engaging and rigorous. The problem-solving books and math competition classes for middle and high school students are outstanding, thanks to the founder's vision and the dedication of exceptional teachers. I recently had a less-than-ideal experience with the math and English placement tests at this facility. The environment was quite chaotic, with a noisy lobby filled with parents chatting and young children playing. The doors to the test rooms were left open, and teachers frequently walked in and out, contributing to the overall distraction.
