The most condescending people in customer service and tech support. 24+ hours between 3 word half answers to my problem. I was treated like I was aware of the OA Smith procedures when I was asking for help. I would rather heat water over a camp fire before I purchase another AO Smith WH and a very expensive commercial WH unit at that. If I could have given them 0 stars I would but this is not an option. 8 days to get a warranty issue handled.
junk water heater, received 2 bad ones in a row, they require a "return authorization" which they would not give me and gave me the run around, I explained that there faulty water heaters cost me alot of time and extra money and the operator did not care and still would not give me the authorization code, dont waste your time or hard earned money with them
I just bought whole house descaler, scale coming out of the water dispenser after 15 days, I called tech support, after asking irrelevant question for 15 minutes, the guy transfer me to tech support, 1 hour on hold, nobody pick up the phone. I will return the unit to Amazon and buy an Aquasure instead. Customer service is very, very bad. Case number 19184228
Installed a water heater for a client. Unit failed after 2 months of original install and kept throwing error codes. After 3 visits and replacing three different parts on a brand new unit as directed by their customer support they authorized replacement. They only offer $100 for unit replacement. No worries to the client, as we will take care of them, but kind of a unsatisfactory experience for the installer. No help or appreciation for a business recommending your product.
