The gym is close by renovation but appears on google maps open
I called before heading there. No info about it being closed. In fact, google had it being busy at this time. I got there and a hand written note stating "closed". Poor management. Thank you for wasting our time
It's almost Dec 1. Gym was supposed to reopen in November. Hurricane was 10/8-ish. Looked inside - doesn't appear it's close to reopening. Owners response to my comments above are "We has a hurricane. It devastated the gym. We tried to sell whats left and in the end even give away the gym to another franchisee for FREE to rebuild. Unfortunately the landlord will not reassign the lease to the new owner. We had a hurricane you may have heard." When will this gym reopen? I won’t dare set foot in the other anytime fitness.
They ( Mike Venas ) promote that you can use Anytime Fitness at other city locations! Totally bogus and misleading! He will not answer any calls! It's a scam on the side! Tried to use the Sarasota location! Would not respond to Costco Fraud Dept. I had to pay to use the Sarasota location! Costco made it right with me! I recommend any health facility but this one!
