I signed up at this gym on May 30, 2026. On June 2, 2026, I called Darryl Pascoe to let him know I wanted to cancel. His response was basically, “Oh, Tiff, why you gotta cancel?” like he was disappointed. I told him because I honestly didn’t like the gym. The bathrooms were nasty. There were men’s shavings all over the sinks, it looked like nobody cleaned up in there, and the whole place just looked run down to me. Use to love this gym but have been trying to call new manager for over a week keeps saying he will call me back and never does even after multiple follow ups and voice mails. I’m moving and also pregnant and have been too sick to even go to the gym so trying to figure out my options to cancel but can’t even get a call back.
I was a member of the anytime in Fraser when Darrell, now manager at this location, ran it into the ground. He was unprofessional in a number of ways from not cleaning the gym at all, staring down members in a creepy manner, rumors of him ripping members off by overcharging them, and not flushing the toilet after using it. It was unsurprising to learn later from others that he had been fired from the Novi powerhouse. He’s an absolute joke of a manager/trainer and it’s a shame they replaced Quincy with him. This gym is by far and will always be the best Anytime fitness/gym I have ever gone too. Quincy is extremely knowledgeable in fitness and how the body functions in general. I was able to learn a lot from him. The staff here are genuine and very nice. They help when help is needed, they work as a team to keep the gym clean and sanitized, bathrooms are always spotless and the energy in the gym is unmatched.
