Therapy is not supposed to make you want to end your life. When informing the psychologist that they made assumptions that were inappropriate, they responded with "I feel I'm being attacked." I asked to be psycho-educated on the difference between EMDR therapy and Schema Therapy and the Psychologist said "It wouldn't benefit you at this stage for me to answer that question, it is not my job to answer those types of questions." I cannot recommend Anxiety House Bulimba and psychologist Sean McWhirter highly enough! Sean is typically based at the Anxiety House Northside, but he kindly made an exception to see me at the Bulimba location to conduct an IQ test.
