Dismissive, quite frankly one of the most uncomfortable, embarrassing, appointments I’ve had in my life.
After several doctors were unsuccessful in curing the cancerous tumor in my maxillary sinus cavity (surgery, radiation), Dr. Kriplani at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) found a clinical trial for an immunotherapy drug that showed good results for certain cancers with limited side effects (although not previously effective for Head and Neck cancers). Unless you’re going to be a success or not putting her out of her way, don’t bother!
My husband was diagnosed with a really aggressive cancer. I didn't want him getting care from anyone else. Our very first visit, I knew in my heart this was the place for him to be. Every single staff member (and there are a lot) have been so gentle and so compassionate. Dr. Kriplani is amazing. Highly professional, she explains everything, and makes you feel safe. Best place there is hands down.
