Dr Atia’s assistance has helped me a great deal. He is knowledgeable, personable and goes out of his way to make himself available. His concern is evident in the way he interacts with his patients.
I don’t know what type of idiotic goofy business practice is going on here but when you’re setting up someone’s appointment and you ask them what insurance do they take and they tell you the insurance that they take and you accept the insurance don’t have the person wake up super early to come to the appointment just for you to tell them that you don’t take the assurance that you already said that you accepted when you made the appointment in the first place, just bonehead stupidity at the highest of level levels
Dont waste your time. They won't do prior auth for specific meds when you have allergy to others. My insurance said they will pay with prior auth and his office refuses to do one. The PA said they could and scheduling says no, he just must not know policy ,hes new. Then Directs me to a special pharmacist thats charging 50 dollars a script, which most likely they're in a contract with. My husband had an endoscopy and colonoscopy with Dr. Attia as the surgeon back in November 2025. Dr. Attia ruptured his spleen and my husband lost 1/3 of his blood. Came close to dying. Had to have his spleen removed.
