Dinner was phenomenal. Dustin was excellent as our very attentive server. Our room was very nice. Some railings etc could use some painting. But we felt very pampered and had a wonderful 25th anniversary celebration.

The place is beautiful. The service is out standing. We were there for our 30th anniversary and had high expectations. The hors d'oeuvres were good except for the prosciutto-wrapped melon. The melon was hard and tasteless and the prosciutto was mostly fatty and chewy. The food was mediocre. I ordered the gnocchi, something my European mother was famous for making. This is my absolute favorite B&B. My husband and I have been here 5 times, each time has been exquisite. The accommodations are superb and unique, the service is extraordinary, and the restaurant on site is phenomenal. Every time is like coming home (what I wish my home was) because this place is comfortable while being elegant but they treat you like family (with a hint of royalty).

We came for a one night stay with a small group from the Center Club in Baltimore. We had a great time. The food and wine at dinner were superb and the service fantastic. Everyone there could not have treated us better. Our room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the early morning coffee tray delivered to our room. We also enjoyed walking the grounds and learning of the history of this area.

It’s a beautiful place with gorgeous gardens. We had our son’s 40th birthday dinner in the cellar. Just beautiful. The food and service were mediocre, not worthy of the many $$$$$$ we paid. Such a shame.
