Free Nuts? Love this place. Its a bit dirty but that just adds to the experience. They have this cage with a gorilla in it. You have to steal its nuts! There free and then you can eat them.
Antonios Nut House is dirty buy loved This is such a dive bar, it is unbelievable. Nonetheless, people flock here an even come here for the food! It isn't quite my scene because I like nicer places, but it's a good place to just relax and hang out.
THE student dive bar A Stanford classic. Pretty much THE place to go if you're a student looking to get a little toasted. A pity the place isn't in stumbling distance of campus. A word to the wise: there's a police station right next to this place, and the Palo Alto cops are bored to tears. Don't be stupid.
Just close your eyes and drink Not the prettiest of places or clientele, for that matter, but if you're there, you're one of 'em. Don't worry about the mess, just throw it on the floor! Great place to get a beer w/ friends, just remember it's the nuthouse. They have had really great softball teams in the past, too!
