I went to Dr. Ilevia with concerns of just not feeling well for months. Based on my symptoms she decided in was going through perimenopause. I asked to do bloodwork and further testing done and she declined. Her words, "What is bloodwork going to show us? That you're going through peri? We already know that and there's nothing we can do about that." Well thankfully I didn't listen to her and got another opinion because I'm now being treated for Stage 2 Metastatic Breast Cancer. did not share test results with me and when I mentioned them, she was surprised to read that they were there and then did not address the health issue at all
She wasn't my choice but I was scheduled by another doctor in my care team. The first time I met her I knew this doctor/patient relationship wouldn't last. Every visit she was rude, condescending,doesn't listen, think she knows it all because she's a doctor. She doesn't even pretend to care. I could read her as soon as I met her. I've been in healthcare care for 20 years. Never would I treat my patients like she does.
