Our favorite restaurant in the Soo The Antlers is back! After some recent disappointing years that eventually lead to closure a new owner has resurrected this local iconic restaurant. The exterior of this building has no curbside appeal, but enter the interior and you'll see things are changing: fresh paint, minor remodeling (and a good cleaning of all the artifacts, antlers and game mounts) have made this an inviting and cozy place to enjoy a very good meal. The new owner is no rookie. He brought in a new menu, combining fo... read more
Unique and Fun If you have a problem with dead animals being stuffed, mounted, and put on display, do not go here. For everyone else, definetely make this a place to visit in the Soo. There are polar bears and lions and every other animal imaginable on display there. They blow bells and whistles every hour on the hour and it makes for a unique dining experience. This is a once in a lifetime experience that is not to be missed. The food is great, especially the beer cheese and whitefish.
Wife and I came here before the casino and it was pretty good. Had the "MI Gumbo" and it was decent. Good atmosphere, but could use a little more attention in the service area. A little slo. Might try it again in the fall.
Great food an conversation piece's.
Steaks – I was stationed at Kincheloe AFB from 1972 - 1976 and visited Antlers on many occasions. In addition to the wonderful steaks, I remember the canoes hanging above the diners, and the chilled Ouzo added to my beers. GREAT TIMES!

The inside of the Antlers is like no place I have been. Lots of cool animals...and the menu is great. They said it was new but we didnt wait too long for a meal. They have some really good wild game and fish. My kids just love this place. I will definitely be going back again and again. Our favorite of the Soo!
My father and I ate lunch here and loved it. The interior is awesome...lots of big game and antlers from deer. Moose, bear, lions, and fish that have been stuffed and preserved are all over. It is the coolest place in the Soo to eat for sure. The food and new menu is really cool. I'm here for work for a few weeks but will go back for dinner a few times for sure. I dont know why the first review was bad...this is the place to go for sure!
