We stayed with Barb and Hank at their beautiful inn for three nights with a group of friends. The location was great, rooms were beautiful and Barb and her staff were exceptional. We had all the rooms in the inn booked and Barb allowed us to have the third floor ballroom with a small but fully appointed kitchen as our gathering space for evenings before and after dinner. Very beautiful setting. Lots of activities. Comfortable, spacious rooms.
Good location. Within walking distance to downtown Traverse City shops and restaurants. Nice, older home. Some furniture in the rooms could use an upgrade.
We had a wonderful time in Traverse City, and the Wellington Inn was an ideal choice. The immense turn of the 20th century home's decor reflects that time period. Alternatively it has modern conveniences that are much appreciated. It also is in a great location to walk to town. Barb and her staff were welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts were so tasty we left later on the day of departure just so we could enjoy it one more time. Barb and Hank are wonderful host. They were informative about the city and made sure we had everything needed. Their restoration of the house shows the love of history and architecture. The memories made here will call us back.
