I liked this property a lot. We stayed in the Art Deco room, which is the 2 bedroom, 2 Bath apartment in the guest house that adjoins the mansion. The location is very good—it’s in an old neighborhood of beautiful homes and it’s also a short walk to Front Street, which is where all the restaurants, shops and bars are. Also, the place has been perfectly rehabbed and very well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again for sure.
Everything was wonderful. We had the best time. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and would like to stay longer next time. Very highly recommended.
We stayed with Barb and Hank at their beautiful inn for three nights with a group of friends. The location was great, rooms were beautiful and Barb and her staff were exceptional. We had all the rooms in the inn booked and Barb allowed us to have the third floor ballroom with a small but fully appointed kitchen as our gathering space for evenings before and after dinner. Very beautiful setting. Lots of activities. Comfortable, spacious rooms.
Good location. Within walking distance to downtown Traverse City shops and restaurants. Nice, older home. Some furniture in the rooms could use an upgrade.
