One of the worst health centers in california, they'll cancel your appointment at the last minute. I have never seen a health center that cancels your appointment when u get to it
Antioch Health Center isn’t what it used to be when they first opened pre COVID. Now you have to wait an hour even if you’re on time, pre checked in and confirmed via text. When you do arrive, the front office staff will just let you stand there until a line starts to form. Then- they will call everyone who came in after you before you. After waiting an hour to establish care with my PCP, The nurse had to keep rechecking my blood pressure because she was measuring it by my elbow. I suffer from multiple health issues, one being terminal and this facility is terrible. As my body breaks down more and more, I need alternative solutions, outside of this facilities means but referral based, which is typical. Let me state, I'm from a smaller county, that refers everything out, but they get you the appointments and they listen to what you have to say.. now these people here, never have availability, when you do get appointments they never have a date for a follow, up, shots, whatever they're saying you need ... read more
