mojo Nice job on my Ranger. Not only did he fix my problem, he did it UNDER the estimate AND under the time frame. I' not sure WHAT undefined(x2) is complaining about, sounds like he didn't like what he HEARD (about the estimate) and took his car to another mechanic, he's free to do that with ANY mechanic.Besides State of Ohio law states .that any repair(s) that is over the estimate by $25 or more ,the garage MUST call the owner to get approval BEFORE any work is performed.Sounds like that's what happened.This guy might be o... read more
Anthonys Discount Auto Repair In response to this posting, I would like to elaborate. This customer, TJ, asked me how much it would cost to install brake pads if he purchased the parts. Although it isn’t customary protocol for a customer to supply their own parts, I decided to do him a favor and quoted him $40, but explained that I needed to get a look at the vehicle. rip off! I can't believe this guy is still in business. Every time I drive by the place is dead. His open sign is on 24hrs a day. I stopped in to have brake pads replaced. He gave me an estimate. The next week I set up an appointment. When I dropped my car off the estimate went up by 40 bucks and he didn't even look at the car yet! I dropped it off anyway which was my first mistake. 30 min later he calls and says it needs rotors. I say ok and then 10 min later he calls saying it needs both calipers.
