I wasn't crazy about pizza until I had Anthony's!! Someone about that coal fired oven makes it out of this world!! My favorite is the traditional with fresh mozzarella added. Pile on the regiano cheese as well!!
“Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza was a mixed experience for me. The staff was actually very friendly and professional, which I appreciated. Before ordering, I noticed another table had pizzas that looked overly burned, so I specifically asked our waitress if they could avoid overcooking ours. Unfortunately, the first pizza still came out extremely burned and was impossible for us to enjoy. The pizza was black. The eggplant was black. The bread was black. I'm not prejudice at all, but I don't like my food black like that had no taste and it was cold as hell I will never order from them again and I've been a south resident for 55 years.
Stopped in for takeout and as it was our first time ordering the whole party wanted to check the place out — so glad we did! The restaurant was very clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. The young lady with curly hair who helped us was incredibly amicable and kind from the moment we walked in (and also while taking my order over the phone.) She’s got a great attitude!
