This doctor released my father, who is 88 years old and has severe dementia, without my consent. I have power of attorney over my father. He did not read the note that said “do not release this patient”. I had to have the social workers call me to let me know that my father was released. They asked the doctor if he would want to talk to me and he refused. Do not use this doctor. He obviously doesn’t read any of the notes in the chart and just released an 88 year old man with dementia, who can’t care for himself.
