Doesn't make sense. Looks like he had a good practice. He could have at least referred us to another Doctor or two that he respected. Don't know if there's a protocol Doctors follow with their patients when they retire. If there is such a protocol, it wasn't followed. Anyway, anybody out there know a good foot and ankle Doctor?
