I had knee surgery on my right knee at the end of January 2017. I had no cartilage in my knee at all, but with the help of Dr Scillia, I am all better and able to walk & resume my normal life activities. He fixed my knee by using bio cartilage & stem cells out of my hip bone. He saved my knee from needing to be replaced. I am pain free, walking 6 miles & able to care for my disabled son with no limitations. I am currently building even more strength back into my leg so I can resume my EMT duties
Great experience with hip arthroscopy. Dr. Scillia is very knowledgeable and a skilled surgeon. Would definitely recommend a family member or friend to him. I am 6 months post-op and already bike riding and power walking.
Although a skilled surgeon, his bedside manner needs improvement. Side effect management and getting to know his patients is not his strength.
He did a fantastic job on my ACL revision. His bedside manner is second to none.
