During the pandemic, therapy was free through a gov't program, so I took advantage to get me off of klonopin, a benzodiazapene. I had been inappropriately perscribed klonopin 9 years before and had a chemical dependency. Every time I moved, I had to find a new psychiatrist, and I was always treated like a med seeking addict. He is truly amazing. I have been needing to find the perfect psychiatrist . And he’s the one. Makes me very comfortable
Dr Michaels helped when I was in the hospital. He took me on as a patient when I was released even though he was not accepting new patients. The therapist he recommended is excellent. I will be forever grateful for his kind, caring and meticulous care.
He is medically sloppy. I have kidney failure and my medications weren't adjusted for that. Due to the wrong dosages of medication, I was sedated, and I slept all the time. Now that my dosages were adjusted for kidney function, I feel much better. He won't communicate with my other doctors. I also have a guardian, and he is rude to her. In addition, he has been out for extended periods on sick leave, and did not arrange for coverage. I would not recommend him. I am changing doctors
