I have been a patient in this practice for several years and have specifically seen two amazing PAs. I needed help with a medical issue and my provider was out of the office so I agreed to schedule with Dr. Cabrera. My husband was present with me as well. Dr. Cabrera was the most condescending, non-compassioate provider I have ever seen. I work in the healthcare field myself and cannot imagine ever treating a patient in the manner in which I was treated! Dr. Cabrera is an insult to the field of medicine! Dr. C has been my PCP for 20+ years. After Kaiser diagnosed and treated athletes foot over an over again with little to no results. One visit to Dr. C diagnosed weeping eczema, relief was immediate with first prescription and symptoms were eliminated in a month.
Visited Dr. Cabrera about a testicular concern. He said nothing was wrong and was ready to send me on my way. After expressing my continued concern he reluctantly ordered an ultrasound. I ended up having testicular cancer. If I had trusted his judgement, the cancer would have spread to the rest of my body. I also agree with the other reviewers who felt rushed and said Dr. Cabrera seemed condescending and uninterested. I'm glad to have moved onto another provider.
I found him to be condescending and generally disinterested. My first colonoscopy found and removed 3 polyps. During my next wellness exam, I asked Dr. C. if it would be a good idea to do a couple of Cologuard tests in the intervening 5 years until my next colonoscopy. He told me that I sounded like some old woman who thinks she needs a mammogram ever six months to avoid dying of breast cancer. (Hey Doc. I was just asking.) And this was not an isolated incident; there were more. I am moving on.
I wouldn't recommend Dr. Cabrera to anyone. I went to see him and he didn't believe my ailments. He laughed at me and was not compassionate!
Very smart Doctor. I talked with him about a pain in my bicep. He said I had a neck problem. MRI showed I had two ruptured discs and needed surgery quickly. Impressive diagnostic skills.
I have had Dr. Cabrera as my Dr for 23 years and he has been very personable and professional.
