His office staff and hygienists are great! However, the dentist has a strange/awkward demeanor. His office decor is old and outdated. He does overcharge versus other dentists. Lastly, I believe he did a terrible job on some major dental work. I’ve had problems ever since. He won’t admit his mistake and he is full of himself! Hence, I won’t be going back. I’ve since found a better dentist who doesn’t charge as much and does NOT recommend things that I don’t need.
I moved 100 miles North to the Deland area about 2 years ago and had to establish all new medical professionals; doctors, dentist, etc. I could not have made a better choice for my dentist than "Dr. Tony". My first visit (cleaning, X-Rays, exam) in November 2019 went smooth and the staff was very professional. (They also recommended dental plans before I ever made the first appointment). Awesome dentist .
Everyone seems to have liked this man's father, who retired, but the son appears to be money-hungry. He made a mistake on our mother's bridge, and refused to try to correct it. She went to another dentist who corrected Visconti's blunder.
Very Satisfied Dr. Visconti and his staff are fabulous. I had to have an implant on a back molar and Dr. V is so gentle and caring. It was quite a process between removing the affected molar as well as building up the gum area. Then the process of the implant later. All I needed was Novocain! The implant looks great and I am extremely happy. Thank you Dr. V!
Dr Tony, did 3 crowns for me, they look great and he worked with me on the price. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Visconti and his dental staff are all very professional and caring. They go out of their way to see to your needs, to communicate well with you, and to explain everything about your personal situation. The receptionist, however, seems to resent her job and is not as warm or service-oriented as the rest of the staff. Making follow-up appointments and paying your bill or checking insurance coverage are handled in a huffy, annoyed manner. Maybe it's just me and I got her on a bad day the last 3 visits I had with Dr. V.
