I can not say enough great things about Dr. Pick. I have been going to endocrinologist since 2007 and he is BY FAR the best. He listens to the patient, not a blood test. I can't recommend him to enough people!
TRIED to make an appointment, but apparently, without a referral, it's impossible. I was told by a very disinterested person on the phone that I could send in my records and the doctor would decide if I was worth seeing without a referral. Sadly, my endo of 35 years retired, and so I can't get a referral. Beware this office. They clearly don't care about helping people.
Its a shame that when you're told by another doctor that they don't know why your symptoms are what they are, that you should probably see an endocrinologist and when I called to make an appt, I'm told that they can't make one for me because I need a diagnosis from the other doctor. Seems like you can't get help unless you already have a diagnosis.......that's why I needed to see this type of doctor so he could tell me what's going on since the other ones can't =(
I TRIED to schedule an appointment with Dr. Pick. Of course you call the "scheduling department." They said that I cannot schedule without a diagnosis. Hang on. Isn't this the reason I would be going to the Dr. - looking for a diagnosis???? So, After I have seen 10 Dr.'s and have a stack of medical/clinical notes, tests, lab results they are telling me I have to fax my medical file to them for them to review to see if I can schedule.
