Today was my first appointment with Dr. O’Connell and let me say, all of the other reviews are absolutely correct. Dr. O’Connell immediately made me feel heard and understood. He truly cares about his patients and took the time to get to know me and listened to all of my concerns. I have been struggling with endometriosis for 6+ years now and he is the first doctor to take the time to explain things to me and walk me through the next steps. Dr. O Connell is amazing!!! He is such a saint and I can personally vouch for him. He is incredibly knowledgeable in endometriosis and some of the comorbid conditions that can come along with endo. I saw him for the first time in October 2023 and he validated every symptom I had and the struggles I had with not having a diagnosis but having excruciating symptoms 24/7. On Wednesday I had my first ever endometriosis excision surgery (and also has my tubes removed). For years I have been told my issues all stemmed from being overweight (from doctors who didn't listen that I had these issues even when I was underweight), told I had no real pain, saw tons of doctors & specialists with no answers, people thought I was just being lazy, etc. and now I finally have some answers.
