I was scheduled out for 3 months for an appt from my referral as that is the earliest they could see me. I got Covid over the weekend, so I called to reschedule this morning. I thought it would be no problem, but the receptionist told me the doctor was no longer taking new patients and I would need to get a new referral letter and find another doctor. This is our health system, what horrible customer service.
Have tried to schedule with the same person on two separate occasions, super rude unnecessarily both times. Acted like checking the schedule for a different Swedish dermatology provider - in case they had less than a 3 month wait - was a hugely difficult and frustrating ask. Meanwhile I have been trying to see a dermatologist since April and it’s November.
