Are you looking for a highly skilled, professional ophthalmologist? Dr Ekong helped my husband navigate and treat Macular Degeneration. Office is bright, immaculate and quiet. Staff friendly and efficient. We gladly drive a good distance to Bangor for treatment with Dr Ekong. 10 Stars
Wish I could leave less. Diagnosed me as VDS, and sent me on my way with a printout from Google explaining it. Told me it would clear up in about 6 weeks. I have since learnt that the standard of care is follow up weekly. It did not clear up, and many weeks later I was diagnosed (at Mass Eye and Ear) with inferior detachment of the retina. Much of my vision in this eye is now lost, and if not for MEE I would have lost all vision in this eye. Avoid this doctor at all costs

I was referred to Dr Ekong by my local eye doctor who said i needed to see a retina specialist right away. Dr Ekong was able to see me the next morning and perform the surgery. A few months later i went for a routine check up with an eye doctor in another city who made a point of saying what a great job Dr Ekong did. I cannot recommend Dr Ekong enough!
Love Dr Ekong! He is genuine and kind and loves his patients. Our daughter is loosing her sight and he is so good with her. Can’t say enough great things about him and his practice. Even though they have felt the hardship of being understaffed, they are holding on and I respect that. Going through transitions are hard for any business or doctors practice. Kudos to them all!
