I drove in from Hamilton *twice* to see him, both times asking pointed questions and soliciting his professional opinion -- and both times came away feeling like he did not respect my time, or have care for my concerns. He even had the gall to insist I pay $20 cash for a special test that only confirmed what I had already told him, leading him no closer to diagnosis or treatment and only ushering me out the door immediately afterwards. I went to see Dr. Cabrera in early July 2024 because I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. Dr. Cabrera was completely professional and kind. There was no rush (even thou he had no receptionist that day) and answered all questions from both myself and my wife. Made me feel extremely comfortable and confident with how my eyes were. Yes his reception room is dated but he is a very nice doctor.
Dr. Cabrera did my LASIK surgery then was so nice to follow up with me for an abnormality in the back of my eye which he found prior to my surgery. He’s thorough, kind, and one of the easiest doctors to talk to. His receptionists are hardworking and always sure to accommodate your schedule.
I found Dr. Cabrera to be compassionate and empathetic. A very positive experience.
WOW! This may have been my worst experience at any Dr. Office. Anthony Cabrera is the epidome of a misogynist, he made an alread difficult far worse! It was my mothers appt. and he kept trying to talk to me alone because she was in a scooter and apparently this rendered her stupid. He man-splained everything and was insanely controlling (telling my mom how to drive her scooter). When We tried to speak we were told on more than one occasion to "STOP!".
